Nadene Pita’s CD Launch coming up this weekend! Sat 19th

Just thought I’d put the word out that Nadene Pita, has her CD launch for Turning Arrows into Flowers this Saturday night, the 19th at The Stone Gallery, Paddington Uniting Church, 395 Oxford St , Paddington. Tixs are $15/20 and it’s from 8 til 11. It is going to be a fantastic night of music with an awesome line up of some of Sydneys’ best musicians. Nadene is an amazing singer/songwriter and violist. She has joined me to play on my songs on many occasions and it is going to be great to be there to hear her songs and arrangements. Hope to see you there!

Nadene Pita’s debut album

Nadene Pita is a fantastic singer, violist and songwriter and she is about to launch her debut album, Turning Arrows into Flowers. It is an awesome album and is the result of a great collaboration with producer Tony Dupe, who also has produced albums for Holly Throsby. She has had some of Australia’s most respected musicians working with her including Hamish Stewart on drums, Brendan St Ledger on piano, Alex Hewetson on bass and Kate Adams on cello. It is a really exciting sound with amazing arrangements making it extremely atmospheric, moody and rich. It is definitely going to be one of my staple listens and I really recommend checking it out. My guess you will love it and be one of the first to hear it. Her link is here…Nadene Pita
I am really lucky to have Nadene joining me on the 22nd of June at The Basement, which will be a pretty rare coming together of my whole band. I am really happy to say that Kitch’s band, The Scarletts will also be playing, so it is going to be a full night and hopefully one that can make. Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you get a chance to check out Nadene’s debut album. It is amazing!!!

Here’s a photo of Nadene.
