Visiting my sister and family in Takaka, NZ
Whenever I spend time in NZ with my sister and her family, I always get very inspired to get back into writing new songs and planning some small gigs back in Sydney. The land here is so abundant and rich and my family’s way of life is exciting with artwork, timber milling, gardening and eating well. Each day I have been having a bath in the garden, heated by lighting a fire underneath, and then the next couple of hours is spent soaking in the heat and watching the birds and clouds. I’m writing a song or two whilst I’m here and am looking forward to a small gig somewhere soon to share them.
